Savings Account $9,475; Checking Account $8292, CD for future Tucker maintenance, $4071. Expenses for the month were for groomer fuel and Tucker repair and maintenance. Motion to accept by Tim Davis, seconded by Andy Bailey, motion carried.

Committee Reports
Trail Report
Bridges and gates have been closed, and snow fence erected to close off some property from ATVs at the request of the landowners. Dick Tatum reported chasing a 4-wheeler off the trail on his property. Still need to remove some drain pipe from waterbars on Rt5 5 and P399. The Tucker is at Glenn Baron’s. A broken leaf spring was discovered on the last grooming run. That needs to be replaced and the tracks repaired, as well as maintenance (filters, grease etc) before the machine is returned to Tim Davis’s for summer storage.
Fundraising
Harpoon’s Summer BBQ and Unity Old Home Day are once again on the same weekend – July 26-27. Motion that the club continue with the Harpoon fundraisers by Mike Foss, seconded by Eric Callum, motion carried. Eric will organize pourers for the beer tent, Mark will help round up people for parking.
Discussion of club logo merchandise. Glenn Baron to check on options for baseball caps. Motion to set aside up to $500 for a supply of caps, to be sold at $2 over club cost, by Terry Callum, seconded by Eric Callum, motion carried.
Terry Callum reported that NHSA grass drags are in October, on Columbus Day weekend, and that a new organizing committee is in place. The club has the opportunity to send volunteer workers the days of the event plus prior weekends for setup, and receive $10 per hour donated.

discussion of groomers and options and club needs, building upon previous discussions
and demos. The club had previously started the grant process for a
Polaris Saratoga utility vehicle with tracks, but after testing the machine and
talking with other clubs, it has become apparent that this machine will not do
what we want. Other options discussed were the ASV Scout (which was tested by
several groomer operators on our trails in March) and a Soucy
tractor conversion that Larry LeClerc tested with the
At the end of the discussion there were two related motions:
Motion that the club go for grants for an ASV Scout with dump body and AFMI drag by Larry LeClerc, seconded by Eric Callum, motion carried.
Motion that the club sell the two oldest Skandics and two 4-foot drags, with the proceeds to help offset the cost of the ASV Scout, by Terry Callum, seconded by Larry LeClerc, motion carried.
New Business
Motion that the club send the Unity Volunteer Fire Dept $50 for rental of the meeting hall and $50 for their attendance at the Radar Run by Terry Callum, seconded by Mike Foss, motion carried.
The next NHSA county meeting is May
5, where clubs will discuss trail construction plans and review grant
materials. This meeting will be held at the Unity Fire Dept on May 5 at
The NHSA annual meeting is May 10. Todd Callum, Eric Callum and Mike Foss are interested in attending. Motion that the club spend up to $75 for meeting registration for up to 3 people by Eric Callum, seconded by Mike Foss, motion carried.
Discussion of trail projects and budget and portable shelter for the Tucker. Terry agreed to get together with the trail and grooming team and work up a plan and budget for approval by the Officers and Directors by telephone and/or e-mail vote. Work must be complete prior to the May 5 NHSA county meeting.
Outgoing President Eric Callum distributed several plaques to thank people who have been helpful to him during his term as President.
