2007 Radar Run - Another GREAT DAY!
We had workers on Friday, February 23rd who made the Radar Run possible! I can't name them all, but without their dedication, time, knowledge and skills we would not have a radar run!
Special thanks to John Callum for use of his truck to "make" the actual radar run track! We had done the job before and we had the tools and equipment necessary to get the markers up, the fences in place and a way to separate the starting line from the observers!
Art & Lorraine Dion just make it so much easier for us with parking spaces, a kitchen to heat things on. In addition, they watch over us and majically appear with help!
This year we showed off the "new" '95 Tucker groomer and were happy to have it at the lake when it became apparent that the snow near the end of the track needed to "go"! It demonstrated it's true capabilities by doing quick work of the job with Tim & Doug at the controls!
The day was great - teens and 20s in AM and low 30s in the PM!
Sold out of food and had many many runs! It was a very GOOD DAY!
Club members MADE IT HAPPEN! Thanks to Todd, again!
