Saturday, August 27, to replenish the firewood at the Perry
Mountain hut. There is plenty
of dead wood in the vicinity of the hut, so it'a
a matter of cutting it to size and stacking in the woodshed. Meet at 8 AM at Nick Taylor shop (Nick's Auto) on

Thanks to everyone who helped at the Unity Old Home Day
food tent a few weeks ago. Although there were a lot of choices this year
(7 food vendors showed up), we sold a lot of hot dogs, hamburgers and french fries and made about $400 for the club treasury.
It was a very nice day and good publicity for the club as well.
As summer winds down, club activities will start ramping
up. Trail Administrator Todd Callum reports that our summer construction
Grant in Aid has been approved. Watch this space for information about
upcoming projects and workbees.
The first meeting of the season is Sunday, September 11
at 9:30 AM at the Unity Volunteer
Fire Department.
